The Original Canoe Cover
$299.00
Protective Covers
45 years of hull-specific protection. Inherited from the Bag Lady. Updated for today.
Patterned to your hull. Made to order. Made to last.
Every canoe hull is different. Every Original Cover is, too. We pattern each one to a specific hull design from our library of hundreds of canoe patterns — not a generic size range — so it fits your boat's lines without highway flap, water pooling, or exposed sections wearing in the sun.
The Original Cover has protected canoes for over 45 years, inheriting the proven Bag Lady design and building on it with current materials and construction. Choose between Premium Polyester for indoor storage and transport, or marine-grade WeatherMAX 3D for year-round outdoor protection. Both fabrics breathe, block more than 99% of UV light, and stretch just enough to follow your hull's contours without sagging or deforming.
Your hull stays protected from UV degradation, road grit, bug damage, and strap rub. Your Kevlar stays yellow. Your gelcoat stays bright. Your resale value holds. It's a cover that pays for itself the first time you sell or trade a boat.
Made to order in our Michigan loft. Shipped when it's right, not when it's fast.
Padded Paddle Case
$79.00
Our padded, durable paddle cases are like Fort Knox for your canoe and kayak paddles.
Made from a durable, breathable WeatherMax LT fabric exterior and padded with quilted polyester lining, these cases protect your paddles from more than the casual bumps and drops. Each case will hold two canoe paddles or one two-piece kayak paddle in compartments separated by a quilted and padded divider. If you don't mind your paddles sharing compartments, they'll hold four canoe paddles or two two-piece kayak paddles. The cases have a convenient, balanced carrying handle, a secure Velcro closure, and hold paddles narrower than 11”. The case size indicates the longest paddle they will hold; if you have a 56" paddle, the 56" paddle case will comfortably protect it with a bit more than an inch to spare.Personally, we keep our primary and spare paddles for solo paddling in one of these cases and a second case with our tandem paddles in it.
Details:
Shell: WeatherMax LT
Padding and lining: Quilted polyester
Trim: Polyester binding

Note: If you want to keep your paddles safe from scratches and bumps in your car, but think that our padded paddle cases are more than you need, click here to learn about our lighter, premium polyester paddle socks.
The Ultimate Cover
$389.00
Full-zip Sunbrella Marine protection for kayaks, surf skis, and outrigger canoes.
The Ultimate Cover fully encloses your hull in Sunbrella Marine fabric with a full-length YKK #10 marine zipper. On in 60 seconds, solo. No wrestling, no stretching, no feeding 11 feet of bow into a sock. Lay the cover alongside your boat, set the hull inside, and zip it closed.
Every Ultimate Cover is patterned to a specific hull design — your kayak, surf ski, or outrigger canoe, not a size range. The Sunbrella fabric is water-resistant, breathable, UV-blocking, and carries a 10-year warranty against fading and degradation. Built for year-round outdoor storage and highway transport.
Welded stainless steel D-rings at bow and stern for tie-down. Three reinforced webbing handles for loading onto racks. Reinforced seams throughout. Everything specified for a cover that lives outdoors on a boat that goes places.
Made to order in our Michigan loft. Shipped when it's right, not when it's fast.
We created the Ultimate Cover because Jeremy was tired of wrestling the front 11 feet of his 21-foot surf skis into a stretch-fit cover after long training paddles. He wanted a full-zip, non-stretch option that was faster and easier to put on. We've since replaced every stretch-fit cover on our own kayaks, surf skis, and outrigger canoes with Ultimate Covers.
Canoe Coat
$349.00
Protective Covers
Sunbrella Marine protection for outdoor storage. Patterned to your hull. Built to stay.
The cover that stays on your canoe all season — because the fabric can take it.
The Canoe Coat wraps your hull in Sunbrella Marine fabric — the same material specified for offshore sailboat covers, carrying a 10-year warranty against UV degradation. It secures with quick-release buckles and webbing straps, and one person can put it on or take it off in about 60 seconds. Patterned to your canoe’s specific hull design from our library of hundreds of patterns.
If your canoe lives outdoors — on a rack, under a tree, through a frigid Michigan winter or a scorching Texas summer — the Canoe Coat is the cover we recommend. Sunbrella blocks 100% of UV light, sheds rain, and breathes to release trapped moisture and heat. Wood gunwales, wood-and-canvas boats, and any hull that stays outside year-round deserve this level of protection.
The Canoe Coat is designed for storage, not transport. For a cover that’s rated for highway speeds, see our Original Canoe Cover.
Made to order in our Michigan loft. Shipped when it’s right, not when it’s fast.
Stern Flag
$12.00
Our stern flags are made from 3-inch wide, highly UV-resistant, vinyl-coated polyester with a 10-inch long attachment loop made from 3/4-inch wide nylon webbing. They can be attached to a rudder, stern handle, carrying thwart, pad-eye, or anything else that the attachment loop will slip through.
Length
Red vinyl-coated polyester: 3x30 inchesLength of attachment loop: 10-inch Total length: 40 inches
Daisy Chain
from $17.00
Low-profile Daisy Chains are a great way to secure or tether gear in your canoe, offering increased stability and preventing items from shifting in rough water or during a capsize. We often combine them with our Cargo Ladders to hold down portage packs and barrels, but they're also fantastic for floatation air bags, smaller gear dry bags, coolers, and anything else that you need to secure.
The webbing loops are soft and collapsible, preventing damage to gear and feet, but also strong enough to withstand the most demanding expeditions and adventures.
They're easily installed with vinyl-compatible adhesives (we recommend HH-66 vinyl adhesive for composite, T-formex, and Royalex canoes) and don't require drilling or hardware.
Adjustable Foot Strap
$35.00
NOTE: Currently out of stock and taking orders for a production run of 50 sets of foot straps with a shipping date of April 3, 2026.
Marathon racers have known this secret for decades. Now you do too.
A proper foot connection to the hull changes everything — your drive, your rotation, your boat control, your ability to move a canoe the way it's meant to move. It's one of the highest-return outfitting upgrades you can make to a canoe paddle sit-and-switch with a foot bar.
Most foot straps on the market are an afterthought — a strip of one-inch webbing stretched across a bar and called a solution. Ours aren't.
RedLeaf foot straps are 1.5 inches wide, padded with neoprene for all-day comfort, and adjustable via 1.5-inch hook-and-loop so they fit bare feet, neoprene socks, or paddling shoes without compromise. They clamp to aluminum or carbon foot bars with included stainless steel hardware — no improvising, no workarounds. Install them once and paddle better from that day forward.
The result is a positive, responsive connection between your body and your hull. Better drive. Better rotation. Better boat handling. The kind of difference you feel the first time you take a stroke.
Available in two configurations:
Standard — fits most solo and tandem canoes.
C1 — designed for narrow, USCA-spec C1s.
