Refund policy

Please note that all custom-sewn items, including storage and transport covers, spray decks, and custom-sized paddle cases, are not eligible for return.

Once the fabric has been cut, an order for custom-sewn items cannot be cancelled.

Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy for non-custom items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused,  and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@redleafdesigns.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on where to send your package. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Items sent back to us without a return authorization will not be accepted.

Damages, defects, and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate and remedy the issue. 

Please note that an improper fit due to incorrect measurements supplied by the customer, incorrect boat model selections, or undisclosed boat customizations (like non-standard rudders or thwart placements, RAM mounts, motor mounts, etc.) are not considered defective or incorrectly patterned. We will do our best to work with you to resolve a fit problem resulting from these types of issues, typically via alterations at our hourly shop rate plus materials when possible. 

Custom-sewn items that do not fit properly due to incorrect measurements  

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom products (such as custom canoe and kayak covers, custom spray covers, or other made-to-order custom goods). If you have an issue with or wish to return a custom product, please contact us so that we can do our best to meet your expectations.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds 

A 6% processing fee is deducted from all credit card and PayPal refunds to cover the fees we have to pay for the original purchase transaction processing and return transaction processing.

Additionally, the cost of the original shipping from us to you is not refundable.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded via your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
