The siphon stove is made with two walls of precisely forged titanium, separated by less than 1 mm. This narrow space helps alcohol quickly rise between the walls where it is vaporized and then ejected through the laser-drilled jets around the rim of the stove. The stove reaches peak combustion within two seconds.The siphon stove is designed to use ethanol (C2H6O) as fuel. We find that most denatured alcohols and alcohol stove fuels found in hardware stores and home centers work well.
